The multipurpose basketball/lawn tennis arena is a state of the art court renovated based on international standards. We chose the basketball court as a project because every student who passed through BHS has a memory of the court. It is the heart & soul of BHS Buea. We also knew renovating the court would give the school a facelift & encourage parents to enroll their kids in school.

The renovations lasted about 12 weeks and costs about $11,000. The handover ceremony orchestrated by the school authorities in the presence of students, the delegate of youth & sports, Asobexs Cameroon president & other dignitaries took place on campus with a friendly game which followed later.

The Executive of Asobexs USA (2016 – 2018) would like to thank every individual who participated in one way or the other for the successful renovations of the iconic multipurpose basketball court. Financial, moral, spiritual and intellectual support did not go unnoticed. Special thanks go to the Principal and staff members of BHS Buea for the guidance they provided, Wilson Azinwi (Class of 91), Jacob Martin (Class of 91), Asobexs USA projects committee, Asobexs Cameroon, our donors and the following classes for their huge financial contributions;
